William Freleigh was born in September of 1858 in New York. His exact birth location is unknown. His middle initial was either "H" or "M" which has been shown on various sources both ways. For the purpose of his biography it is left out of the title. William's father was also named William Freleigh and his mother was named Julia.

Marriage & Children

William married Sarah Anna Carr, a daughter of Storm Carr and Mary Trenchard. They had ten known children that they raised in the Indian Fields and Dormansville area. Their children were:
