Birth
Judson C. LaPaugh was born on October 18, 1838[1] Oct. 1840[2] in Westerlo.[3] son of David LaPaugh and Polly Mary Vanleuven. His surname was also spelled La Paugh, Laupaugh and Laughpaugh.[4]

Judson married say 1877 Catherine. They lived in Rensselaerville and had three or more children:

He received a pension on February 12, 1884[5]
