Jacob Quackenbush was born in 1763.

He married at about 1789, Maria Lainhart a daughter of Michael Lainhart and Maria Woerster. They had the following known children:

- Jacob Quackenbush b. 1799
- Maria Quackenbush b. 1801
- Elizabeth Quackenbush b. 1805
Death
Jacob died between September 17, 1822 and March 1, 1823. Mary died on January 27, 1836.

Additional Research Notes
The burial record for Maria Lainhart Quackenbush that was transcribed by Brinkman seems to be in error. It’s highly unlikely that Maria was 82 years old at the time of her death. In 1830 she was living in Knox with her son, Jacob and was listed as age 60-70
