Harrison Kneiskern was from Berne. Harrison was born 23 Apr 1840 and was baptized 10 July 1841 in the Reformed Dutch Church of the Beaver Dam. He was a son of Jacob Kniskern and Catherine Haverly.

Additional Remarks: Enlisted at the age of 24 . Geo Rogers Howell wrote that Harrison Kneiskern from Berne fought in the Civil War. "Promoted to Sergeant Sept 19th, 1862. After being in service six months, he was discharged for physical disability."

Harrison died on November 5,1911. It is presumed that his death took place in the City of Albany where he lived all of his married life.
