Landauer, 21, son of August Landauer of Delanson, won his navy "Wings of Gold" and was commissioned an ensign in the naval reserve recently following completion of the prescribed flight training course at the Naval Air Training Center, of Pensacola, Fla., the "Annapolis of the Air." - July 15, 1944
Lieutenant Landauer, a naval pilot, is presently stationed at the U. S. Naval Base at Alemeda, Calif., after service in the Pacific. - December 24, 1945

Landauer - Gilroy
Miss Marianne L. Gilroy, daughter of J. Herbert Gilroy, 1923 Baker Ave., and the late Louise Johnson Gilroy, and Louis Charles Landauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Landauer, were married Dec. 28 (1946).
The wedding took place at 10 a. m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, the Rev. James F. COllins celebrating the nuptial Mass and officiating at the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Edward Daly sang "Panis Angelicus" and "Ave Maria" accompanied by Harry McCormick at the organ.
Miss Dorothy Jane Robischon of Syracuse was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Jacquelyn Baird of Utica and Miss Frances COnroy of Montgomery,, each being college classmates of the bride. The best man was Francis Landauer, brother of the bridegroom. The ushers were Robert J. Gilroy, cadet at the USMA, brother of the bride, and Joseph Landauer, brother of the bridegroom.
The bride was given in marriage by her father...
The bride is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Francis de Sales High School, and the College of St. Rose, Albany. The bridegroom is a former lieutenant in the Naval Air Corps.

Nurse's Funeral Conducted Today
The funeral of Mrs. Marianne Landauer, a registered nurse, was held today from the Robert F. Dufresne Funeral Home, Latham, and from St. Ambrose Church, where a Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Ray Francis J. Hartigan.
Bearers were Nelson Hazard, James Bottum, John Hooker, John Van Wie, Anthony Andi and Vincent Barr. Interment was in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, where Father Hartigan officiated.
