Birth

John Silkman Holmes was born on November 1, 1772, a son of Beecher Holmes (1744-1816) and Mercy Silkman(1747-1834). [1]


Marriage & Children

John married Almy Robbins who was born in 1780, a daughter of Isaac Robbins (1748-1813) and Margaret Titus (1750-1832) on August 17, 1796 at Greenville, Greene Co., NY. [1] They had the following children:
