Biography
Ellen Frances Wheeler was born January 28, 1864.[1] It is known she was born in New York. Her exact birth location is unknown but based on census readings she is believed to have been born in the Westerlo area. She was the daughter of David Wheeler and Jennete Haines[1]. She married John Frederick Chapman, circa 1883, and they had the following children:

- Benjamin Hagamon Chapman[1]
- Ward Chapman[1]

Ellen died January 29, 1948, in Alcove, NY[1]. She was buried in Hannacroix Rural Cemetery in Dormansville with John and children Leonard and Alice[2].
