Elizabeth Gifford was born February 26, 1769, Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Marriage and Children

She possibly married John Furman probably about 1790 in Middletown, Ulster Co., New York. They moved to Berne and had the the following children:

• Delila Furman (1794-)
• Hannah Furmam (1799-)
• Sally Furman (>1800-)
• Robert Furman (1803-1868)
• John Furman (1806-1879)
• William Furman (1806->1884).

Death

Elizabeth died January 25 1826, in Berne and is buried with John in Gifford Hollow Burying Ground.
