Birth
Judson C. LaPaugh was born on October 18, 1838[1] Oct. 1840[2] in Westerlo.[3] son of David LaPaugh and Polly Mary Vanleuven. His surname was also spelled La Paugh, Laupaugh and Laughpaugh.[4]

Additional Remarks: Judson first received an unspecificied wound May 19, 1864, three months later August 14, 1864 he was wounded in the left hand, less than two weeks later he was wounded a third time.[4]"PO Address Westerlo Albany Co N.Y."[1] Eight months after the last wound, he was discharged for a disability. He received a pension on February 12, 1884[5]
