Birth
William Miner Chrysler was born in Knox on March 19, 1847, a son of William Chrysler and Lucy Siple. [1] He was a brother to Erskine Chrysler who died as a result of his service in the Civil War.
Marriage & Children
He married Mary E.Beller, a daughter of Johannes Friederich Beller and Caroline Deitz who was born on January 16. 1849, on February 20, 1867[1]. They had the following children:
- Carrie Chrysler born at about 1868 (1870 census, City of Albany), married Peter S. Bradt. [1]
- Flora M. Chrysler born August 1870, married William H. Palmer[1]
- Esther Chrysler married William Shutter [1]
- Martha “Mattie” Chrysler born October 26, 1875, married Harry Vandergrift, died June 15, 1901[1]
- Winfield S. Chrysler born July 1879[1]married Mary Richard[2]
- Grace Beller Chrysler born June 1880, married Frank Sheer[1]
- Seth M. Chrysler born in 1884, [1]
- Charley D. Chrysler born October 13, 1887[1], died July 11, 1894[2]
His Life
He was a well known nurse in his younger years, often gone for weeks caring for patients throughout the area. [2] He was an active member of the Charles McCulloch Post No. 645, G.A.R., and was an elected officer within that organization for many years. [2]

Death
Miner died on April 19, 1922 in West Berne, NY.[3] His wife, Mary, died on September 22, 1927 at the home of her daughter in Schenectady[2]

The Altamont Enterprise, May 5, 1922
Miner Chrysler departed this life April 19th. He had just passed his 75th birthday, March 19th. He had only been ill a few hours and death came very unexpected. He leaves to mourn his loss, and invalid wife, who is in her 74 year, four daughters, Mrs. Peter S. Bradt of West Berne, Mrs. Flora Palmer of Albany, Mrs. William Shutter of Albany, Mrs. Frank Sheer of Schenectady; two sons, Winfield Chrysler of Central Bridge and Seth Chrysler of Schenectady; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He was an ideal father and a good neighbor and will be missed in many homes where he was always present in case of sickness. In his younger days he followed nursing, making typhoid fever a specialty. May the all wise Father watch over and comfort the bereaved ones.

Mary E. Beller, widow of the late Miner Chrysler, died very suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 25th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Sheer of 36 Western Parkway, Schenectady.

The funeral service of Charley Chrysler, son of Miner Chrysler, was held at the family home on Thursday afternoon, July 12th. The Rev. John Kling officiated.
