Josiah was born at about 1760[1]
His life
Josiah, Sr. came from New York City and settled in Westerlo when the town was but a wilderness. He fought in the Revolutionary War and then settled on a farm in Westerlo. [2]

Josiah died at about 1850 in Westerlo.
