Birth
Norman was a son of Lloyd B. Gifford and Martha, and was born at about 1839 at Rensselaerville. [1]
Marriage & Children
He married at about 1872 in Tompkins County, Anna, the daughter of H.C. and Elizabeth Woodworth, who was born at about 1851. They had two children, Elizabeth and Lloyd.
His Life
He was a druggist and was unmarried at the time of his enlistment[1]. After the war, he removed to Ulysses, Tompkins County and continued in his trade. [2]
