Rev. CHARLES KELLERMAN
ROTTERDAM — The Rev. Charles Kellerman, 57, of Bayberry Road died Sunday (July 17, 1994) of a long-standing heart ailment. Stricken Friday at his camp on Sacandaga Lake, he died two days later in St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.
He was born in Elizabeth, N. J. He was a graduate of Drew University and the Wesley Theological Seminary. He was a pastor in Staten Island; Fort Lee, N.J.; Delanson; Burlington, Vt.; Fort Ann; Gallupville; and McKownville. He also served at Broadway United Methodist church and Fisher United Methodist Church, both in Schenectady, and Calvary United Methodist Church in Niskayuna.
He was a member of the Order of St, Luke, the Festival of Praise Choir and the Octavo Singers, aira was active in ecumenical affairs.
Rev. Kellerman enjoyed collecting. He was an avid and knowledgeable stamp collector, and friends would often give him a new Santa Claus for his collection. He requested $2 bills at the bank and surprised waiters in restaurants by giving them as tips.
Survivors include his wife, Luella Quay Kellerman; two daughters, Diane Cernak of North Carolina and Susan Petrosino of Schenectady; two sons, David Kellerman of Broadalbin (Fulton Co.), and Jeffrey Seger of Boulder, Colo.; two brothers, Donald Kellerman of Clark, N.J., and Robert Kellerman of Fairfield, Conn.; and two grandchildren.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in Fisher United Methodist Church, Schenectady. Members of Festival Celebration, the successor of the Festival of Praise, will sing Old Hundredth at the service.
Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home, Schenectady.
Contributions may be made to the Wesley Seminary Scholarship Fund and the Troy Conference Camping Program, both in care of the Troy Conference Center, Box 560, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. 12866.

District reassigns Rev. Kellerman
McKOWNVILLE: — Rev. Charles A. Kellerman of McKownville United Methodist Church has been assigned to Calvary United Methodist Church in Schenectady. He has served the McKownville congregrition since 1984.
Kellerman will replace Rev. Dr. James Beskin, who will retire in June. The appointment is effective June 25.
A native of Elizabeth, N.J., Kellerman is a graduate of Drew University and Wesley Theological Seminary. His move to Calvary will be a return to Schenectady, where he served Broadway UMC from 1973 to 1984. Before that he held pastorates in Fort Ann (1970-73), Burlington, Vt (associate, 1967- 70), Delanson, Burtonville and Gallupville; (1963-67:), Fort Lee N.J, and Staten Island.
Kellerman is married to the former Luella Quay Seger of Berne, a second grade teacher at Berne-Knox Elementary School. They have four children, David Kellerman of Scotia, Diane Kellerman Cernak of Oahu,, Hawaii, Susan Sager (Seger), a senior at Nazareth College, and Jeffery

Mr Seger is the son of Mr. and Mr. James Seger, former residents of Knox, now of Ormond Beach, Fla.
