Birth
Adam H. Reinhart was born in September of 1840 in Middleburgh, Schoharie County, NY to Henry Reinhart (B. abt 1820, D. bef 1880) and Anna Bradt (B. April 4, 1817, D. Oct 4, 1892).[1] He was their oldest son of nine children.[1]

Life
After Adam returned from the Civil War, he lived with his family.[5] In 1870 he was living with his parents and siblings in Middleburgh, Schoharie County and working as a farm laborer.[5] A decade later, he was living with his widowed mother Anna in Berne and his younger brother Jacob, and working as a farm laborer.[6] The 1890 US Veterans census recorded Adam as living in West Berne.[6] After the death of his mother and brother in law, Adam lived with his older sister Rachel Reed and her family in Berne.[7][8] [9] Ultimately his nephew Henry Crane took over financial responsibility for Rachel and Adam.
Death
Adam H. Reinhart died on July 29, 1915 in Berne, Albany County, NY.[1]
