Birth
Harold was born in Acra, New York on December 5, 1927,[1] and was the son of the late Herbert Cameron and Dorothy Stead Cameron Jones.[2]
Marriage and Children
Harold married Mary C. Jewell and they had son Mark E. Cameron.[2]
Occupation
Harold was employed for 26 years with E.E. Taylor Co. and more recently with New Salem Saab for 25 years.[2]
Military Service
Harold was a U.S. Navy veteran serving his country during World War II.[2]
Death
Mr. Cameron, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at St. Peter's Hospital.[2]
Burial
Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on October 30, 2003.[2]

WESTERLO -- Harold H. Cameron of Westerlo, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at St. Peter's Hospital. He was born in Acra, N.Y. and was the son of the late Herbert Cameron and Dorothy Stead Cameron Jones. Mr. Cameron resided in the Capital District for most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving his country during World War II. Harold was employed for 26 years with E.E. Taylor Co. and more recently with New Salem Saab for 25 years. Mr. Cameron was a life member of the West Albany Fire Company #1. Harold's passion was race cars. He was a member and officiated for the Sports Car Club of America. Mr. Cameron also enjoyed golfing and bowling. Harold is the beloved husband of Mary C. Jewell Cameron. He is the cherished father of Mark E. Cameron and his wife Dorian L. of Westerlo; devoted grandfather of Harold H. Cameron II and Joshua R. Cameron; cousin of Veronica Padgett of Ga., David Stead of Fla. and Shirley Griffen of Va. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 10:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 or the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Harold H. Cameron.
