Aaron Flansburgh was born in 1847 in New Scotland, Albany Co, NY to John J. Flansburgh (B. June 10, 1812, D. Aug 15, 1887) and Martha Sophia Siver (B. Nov 6, 1818, D. Nov 26, 1904).[1] He was one of eleven children.[1]

Aaron married Elizabeth A. Thompson in about 1876.[1] She was born in about 1851 in NY to unknown parents.[1] They had the following children:
