George S. Bartholomew
At rest, January 22, 1961, age 88 years. Husband of Clara R. Brothers, step-father of Mrs. Gordon Trotter, both of Knox. Other survivors are: Five grandchildren, John and Charles Palumbo of Knox, Mrs. Bernice Gadbout of Schenectady, Mrs. Carol Warner of Knox and Miss Dona Palumbo of Rotterdam. Also seven grand children and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bartholomew was born at Whitehall, and for 28 years werved that village as superintendent of water works. The last eight years of his life were spent in Knox.
