Clinton Gifford of Rensselaerville died Oct. 3 at the Albany Medical Center. He was born in the town of Durham March 28, 1923 son of the late James and Nina Filkins Gifford. Mr. Gifford was a member of the Rensselaerville Volunteer Fire Department and was employed by the New York State Department of Transportation in Voorheesville. Funeral service with Rev. Charles G. Rice officiating was held Monday, Oct. 6 at the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville. Interment was in the Rensselaerville Cemetery. Surviving are his widow, the former Helen Kropp; seven sons, William, James, Ronald, John and Glendon, Allen and Roger Gifford, all of Rensselaerville; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Jean) Button of Voorheesville; and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Daisy May) Shanz of Middleburgh. | Clinton Gifford of Rensselaerville died Oct. 3 at the Albany Medical Center.
