Birth
Evelyn was born January 24, 1912, in Albany, NY, daughter of Marshall Allen Armstrong (b. 10/25/1878 in Knox, d. 6/21/1950 in Altamont) and Louise Ruth Tegler (Teglar) (b. 9/7/1885 in Fort Recovery, Ohio, d. 7/30/1952 in Altamont). She lived with her aunt, Anita Tegler, and grandparents, Fred and Bertha Tegler, in Albany, from age 1.
Education
Evelyn graduated from Albany State Teachers College in 1933.
Occupation
She taught in Castleton, N.Y. for three years.
Marriage & Children
She was married on August 17, 1940, in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Albany to Donald VG Wiedeman (Weidman) (b. 6/3/1913, Ilion, NY, d. 3/17/1957, Albany). They had one child, Carol Louise (b. 11/28/1950).
Death
Evelyn died August 14, 1989, in Albany, and is buried in Knox Cemetery in Knox.

Paton of Altamont, RD 1, Esther Bailey of Elsmere and the late Fred Tegler. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont.
