Carl Gaige Dies at 75
Funeral services for Carl Gaige, 75, of the Embury Apartments, Saratoga Springs, who died Sept. 6 (1973) at the Wesley Nursing Home, were conducted Monday at the Bussing-Cunniff Funeral Home, by Rev. Robert F. Trost, pastor of the United Methodist church. Burial was in the Schenectady Memorial Park cemetery.
He was born in Gallupville March 22, 1898, and had lived most of his life in Saratoga Springs.
He was a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge of Greenfield Center and an active member of Greenfield Grange. He was formerly employed at Ash Grove Farms, and prior to his retirement served as manager of Stewart's Ice Cream store on Church St., Saratoga.
Survivors include two brothers, Jesse and Olin Gaige, both of Schenectady; one sister, Mrs. Luther (Minnie) Dexter, of Knox.
