Birth
Fred was born in the town of Berne on January 26, 1861, the son of Jacob M. Wright and Celinda Bell, born in Berne a daughter of John Bell and his wife Charity.[1]
Education
Fred attended the common schools and the Albany public schools.[1]
Occupation
He delivered bread for his father until he was twenty-one years of age, when he engaged in the cigar business as a jobber, doing his own selling. In 1884 he returned to Clarksville, where he has ever since been engaged in the bakery business. He has also been interested in various enterprises, and officiated as town clerk in 1886.[1]
Marriage & Children
In 1886 he married Emma, a daughter of Martin S. Van Derzee.[1]
They have one child, Maud Wright.[1]
