Sarah Catherine Gathan Hess b.4 Nov 1839 in Berne son of Matthew Gathen and Sarah Resue.
Marriage
Married Martin Hess in Rensselaerville 10 Oct 1866. They had one child Frank B. Hess born 1869 Berne, married Grace C. Putnam, died 1918, buried in the Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.
Died
Sarah died 24 Jul 1924, Rensselaerville and is also buried there in the Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.
