Birth
Martin A. Joslin was born on April 20, 1837 in Berne, Albany Co., NY, a son of John Joslin and Phebe McNary.
Marriage & Children
In 1867 he married Mary Young who was born in 1838 at Berne, a daughter of Philip Young and Hannah Mattice. They had two children:
- Edward Joslin born in 1869
- Manley Joslin born in 1880
Occupation
Martin was a policeman in Albany, a school teacher in Bethlehem, and later a traveling salesman.
Death
Martin died in 1918 and is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in New Salem. Mary died in 1922 and is buried beside her husband. Their son, Manley, died in 1956 and is buried beside his parents.
