Birth
George was born to Peter Fetterly and Hannah Anna Bassler on March 3, 1786, in Dundas, Ontario, Canada. He was born soon after Peter and Hannah had moved to Canada from the Mohawk Valley, N.Y.
Marriage & Children
George later married his first cousin, Eve Fetterly, who was the daughter of George's uncle, John Fetterly. George and Eve had a large number of children.
