Born in Schenectady, Mr Schuler was employed as a tool and die maker inspector at the General Electric Co. 50 years, retiring in 1958. He was a member of Christopher Yates Lodge F&AM 971 and the company quarter century club.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Marion Filkins Schuler, a daughter, Mrs. Ted Pitcher of East Berne, two sisters, Mrs. Helen Munn of Sao Paulo, Brazil and Mrs. Clara Frederickson of Albany and three grandchildren.
