Life

Henry was living with his parents and siblings in Fulton, Schoharie County, NY in 1850. His father was a farmer.[3] By 1860 at the age of 18 he was no longer living with his parents and his exact location has not been found.[8]

After he returned from the Civil War, he married and began having a family. The young family can be found in the 1870 Census living in East Berne, where Henry was working as an apprentice painter.[5] A decade later Henry, who was now a carpenter, and his family were still living in East Berne.[6]

After Henry's death in 1886, his family continued to live in Berne. His widow Maria was recorded in the 1890 Veterans Census, which confirmed Henry's Civil War service.[4]

Death

Henry died on May 30, 1886 in Albany and was buried at the Henry Warner Burying Grounds in East Berne.[2] His gravestone says "Henry Warner died May 30, 1886, aged 44 years Co. K, 7th N.Y.H.A."[9] His stone is only one of three that was still standing at the cemetery.[9]
