William's siblings were: Peter W. 1798, Hannah 1802, Elizabeth 1804, John 1807, Sarah 1809, Catherine Ann 1810, Henry 1812, Julia Marie 1814, Rebecca 1816, Cornelius V. 1819, Chester 1821, Eunice 1823, Catholine 1824.

William married Mary Catharine Becker (dau. of John Becker and Rebecca Schaeffer) on 11 May 1825 at Reformed Church, Schoharie, Schoharie, NY.
