George was born 1843 in the Town of Westerlo son of Richard Haight and Amelia A. Barton.

George was married Jan. 17, 1872 in Gallupville, Schoharie County, to Margaret Wilcox. They had one daughter, Carrie M. Haight.
Death
George died Dec. 14, 1897, East Berne and was buried in The Wilcox Family Burying Ground on the farm.
