Birth

John Fetterly (abt. 1750 - 28 Nov. 1810) was a son of Philip Fetterly & Anna Margarita Schoein.

Occupation

John was a farmer.

Marriage & Children

John married Anna Maria Papst after the Revolution and moved to Williamsburg, Ontario, Canada. There they raised a large family.

Military

John Fetterly was arrested for being a Torie according to the Albany Committee of Safety & Correspondence records, and along with other Loyalists put in jail. Oddly enough, he is mentioned in his father Philip's will, yet his Loyalist brother, Peter Fetterly, is not.

Death

John Fetterly died in Ontario, Canada, 28 Nov. 1810. It is not certain where he was buried.
