WESTERLO — Michael J. Casullo III, a young man who loved his family and friends, enjoyed the outdoors and country music, and was learning to be an electrician, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, in Duanesburg. He was 19.

He was the son of Michael J. and Marcia (Halse) Casullo Jr.

He graduated from BerneKnox-Westerlo High School in 2011. “During those years, he became passionate about learning the electrical trade through the Capital Region Career and Technical School program,” his family wrote in a tribute. He was currently pursuing a degree in electrical maintenance and construction while working part-time for Mackey Electric in Cohoes. “Michael loved riding his fourwheeler, dirt bike, and snowmobile,” his family wrote. “He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music, and being with friends.

He loved summer vacations in Cape Cod with family, where many wonderful memories were made.“Michael’s best friend was truly his brother, Matthew; together they were one. His smile and sense of humor has touched many hearts.”
