Mr. Foster was born in Albany  to Audrey J. Foster (Zorn) and  the late Rodney M. Foster. He  graduated from Phillip Schuyler  High School in 1966 and proudly  served in the United States  Army during the Vietnam War  in Korea.

Among those witnessing this special occasion were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Foster II, sister Debbie, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Philip Cummingham, Jr. of Albany and Mrs. Rodney Foster, Route 85; Aunt Eileen Salisbury of Albany and aunts and uncles Lee and Dan Baggott of Delmar and Dan and Maureen Cunningham of Albany, cousins Ellen, David, Larry, and Paul Miller of Albany, Jessica and Scott Baggott of Delmar. Later all went to Missy's home in Reidsville for a family picnic.
