He continued his life of service through working as a federal guard for the city of Albany until he fully retired. Rodney loved his Harleys and riding. He enjoyed his time in the Thousand Islands and hunting. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his beloved wife of 36 years, Lynne M. Cunningham. In addition to his mother, Rodney is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Daniel) Knoll and Melissa Foster. He is the proud grandfather of his two grandsons, Ryan and Justin Knoll. He was also survived by his companion and partner in life, Alice Kiernozek and several nieces, nephews, cousins and close family members.
