BERNE — A service was held Wednesday for Jeanette Bullis Lendrum, 64, of Helderberg Trail, who died Sunday at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Corvallis, Ore;, and met her husband, Frederick D, Lendrum when he was stationed in Oregon with the Marines and she was working in the advertising department of the Corvallis Gazette Times. The couple were married March 24, 1946, following his return from duty on Okinawa. They moved east later that year.
Mrs. Lendrum retired in 1987, as a secretary for the Rensselaerville Institute. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Beside her husband, survivors include a son, Steven F. Lendrum of Berne; three daughters, Sharon M. Nevins of Berne, Nancy A. Lendrum of Altamont and Constance J.
