She had been treated by the family physician for a cancerous tumor, which it was deemed best to have removed. Accordingly, she was taken to Albany where an operation was performed at the City Hospital by the house physicians, but she did not rally from the shock and died on Wednesday. Her remains were brought to this village Wednesday evening and taken in charge by undertaker Hellenbeck. The funeral took place from her late residence on Friday. She was very estimable young lady and was beloved by all who knew her. | ||
