Clifton Lloyd Lounsbury was born in Dormansville on Jan. 8,1936, son of the late Theodore and Lena (Fisher) Lounsbury. His brothers and sisters were:

Clifton Lounsbury was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 106 for 31 years. He worked for the Albany County Department of Public Works and Paddock Pools. Mr. Lounsbury was a former member of the Westerlo Fire Company. He loved snowmobiling and was a former member of the North Wind Riders Snowmobile Club.

He was an avid Softball player, a Little League coach, and hr enjoyed playing poker with friends.

WESTERLO — Clifton (Lloyd) Lounsbury, 64, of Westerlo died on Dec. 11 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.

Mr. Lounsbury was born in Dormansville on Jan. 8,1936, son of the late Theodore and Lena (Fisher) Lounsbury.

He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 106 for 31 years. He worked for the Albany County Department of Public Works and Paddock Pools. Mr. Lounsbury was a former member of the Westerlo Fire Company. He loved snowmobiling and was a former member of the North Wind Riders Snowmobile Club.

Survivors include his wife, Cora (Vincent) Lounsbury; two sons, Kevin Lounsbury and his wife, Kathy, of Berne, and James Lounsbury and his wife, Beth, of Westerlo; fivestep-children, Diane Lounsbury and her husband, John, of Westerlo, Rickey Chrysler and his wife, Kathy, of Surprise, N.Y., Wade Chrysler and his wife, Cyndi, of Earlton, N.Y., Roger Chrysler and his wife, Lillian, of Berne, and Don Chrysler and his wife, Diane, of Berne, N.Y. ; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces an nephews. He is also survived by five sisters, Harriet Peck, Marjorie White, Janice Lounsbury, Betty Jean Mueller, and Sandra Ross; seven brothers, John Lounsbury, Patrick Lounsbury, Dennis Lounsbury, Terrance Lounsbury, Roger Lounsbury, Thomas Lounsbury, and William Lounsbury.

A sister, Janet Berkhoffer; and three brothers, Theodore Lounsbury, Harold Lounsbury, and Clyde Lounsbury, died before him.

Calling hours will be today (Thursday) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville, N.Y. Services will be at 11a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in the Westerlo Rural Cemetery, Memorial contributions may be made to local heart;- cancer, or diabetes funds.
