Russell Zadok Nasholds died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004, in Pinehurst, N.C., where he lived.

Born in Albany to the late Craig and Maude Pitcher Nasholds, he was passionate about woodworking and building and construction. He worked for many years as a building and construction engineer for George Mason University. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Southern Pines, N.C.

He was a charter member of the Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs and Civitans International.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Gotha Nasholds; his two daughters, Gail Kirchner of Ocala, Fla. and Linda Reville of Lyndonville, N.Y.; his brother, Donald Nasholds of Albany; his five grandchildren, Robert, Molly, and Rebecca Reville and Chad and Amy Goetz; and two greatgrandchildren.
