He spent the last 25 years at Hillside House in Ravena before entering Albany County Nursing Home earlier this year. He was the brother of the late Fannie Gallup, Nettie Filkins, Minnie Strevell, Leonie Gallup and Lewis and Harold Skinner. He was a member of the Congregation Christian Church in Ravena.
Mr Skinner's siblings all died before him — four sisters, Fannie Gallup, Nettie Filkins, Minnie Strevell, and Leonie Gallup; and two brothers, Lewis and Harold Skinner.
