Eugene Campbell was born in about 1840 in Rensselaerville, Albany County, NY.[1] He had a younger brother Adam Campbell who was born in Knox in about 1842.[1]
Eugene Campbell was born in Rensselaerville on December 20, 1840, a son of Alexander Campbell, Sr. and Delia Weed. His brother, Alexander Campbell was enlisted in the 91st Infantry

Life
He resided in Rensselaerville, Medusa PO,according to 1890 Veterans Census, which noted that he suffered with nervous prostration and was unable to attend to business.[4]
Death
Eugene Campbell died in 1911.[5]
