Birth
John Armstrong was born in Knox, on June 12, 1814, the son of John Armstrong Jr. (2/13/1784-3/14/1879) and Tahpenes Williams](10/3/1788-4/30/1859).
Occupation
He was a farmer.
Marriage & Children
John married Mary Clyckman (1813-1903) and they had the following children:
- Elmina Armstrong (Elmira) (3/4/1840 - 3/21/1892, m. Silas Keenholts, 12/3/1839-9/4/1924)
- Charles Armstrong (1847-1921, m. Delphine Truax, 1853-1923)
Death
John died 1876, and is buried in Knox Cemetery in Knox
