Died

Champion - October 13 (1976), Robert S. Champion of Knox; brother of the late Clifford Champion, Gerald Champion, Helen Warner and Jessie Jeffers. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Fredendal Funeral Home, Saturday, Rev. Peter Berry officiating. Interment was a Knox Cemetery.

KNOX MAN INJURED IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Robert Champion, 30, of Knox, whose car tipped over after failing to negotiate a curve near Warner's Lake, was in critical condition today in Albany Hospital. He suffered internal injuries. Troopers Meade Kniskern and J. S. Slkora said champion was found walking along the road in a daze near his overturned car. He was taken to the hospital by Clarence Gage, Schoharie, and Herbert Quay, Knox.

Pvt. Robert S. Champion has returned to Camp Adair, Oregon a weeks furlough spent with his brother, Clifford Champion, and family.

Mrs. Charles Truax and Pvt. Robert Champion Were dinner guests last Thursday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hilton, of Sehenectady.

Helen E. Champion Warner

Mrs. Helen Warner, a long-time resident of West Township, died Thursday, Dec. 23, after a long illness.

She was the wife of Stanton Warner; mother of Harold Warner, Fort Plain; Blanche Olsmit, Schenectady; Leo Warner, Albany; Vernon Warner, Altamont; Elsie Carlotti, Albany; Kermit Warner, Schenecetady. She was also a sister of Jessie Jeffers, Albany; Robert Champion, Altamont; and the late Clifford and Gerald Champion. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.

Services were held at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, on Monday, Dec. 27. with liev. Donald Hull of the Knox Reformed church officiating. Burial was in Knox cemetery. Mrs. Warner was a faithful West Township reporter for the Enterprise over a long period of years.
