Birth
Frederick F. Cluet was born at about 1750 and was likely originally from the Ulster County, NY Cluet families.
Marriage & Children
At the time of his death his wife’s name was Elizabeth and whether or not he had a previous marriage is not known. Known children of Frederick were:
- Dorothy Clute who was born at about 1776. She married Francis Barckley
- Patty Clute who was born at about 1786. She never married
- Isaac Clute who was born at about 1790
Death
Frederick died between 1830and 1838 in Knox. Elizabeth died between June 27, 1838 and July 7, 1838. Elizabeth’s will directed that she be privately buried in the burial ground at the Henry I. Schoonmaker farm without any funeral pomp. No marker has been found and her name isn’t listed by Brinkman for that cemetery.
