Reuben G. Wallace was born Feb 8, 1933 in Hudson, NY. His brother was Vincent Wallace of Claverack (Columbia Co.)
Occupation
He moved to Albany in 1956 and lived here until 1992, when he moved to Knox. Mr. Wallace was an Albany police officer for 26 years, retiring in l985, and then worked for Capital Regional Market as a security guard.
Military
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, in which he was awarded three bronze stars.

Reuben G.. Wallace KNOX Reuben; G. Wallace, 65, died suddenly Friday at Albany Medical Center Hospital. He was born in Hudson, moved to Albany in 1956 and lived here until 1992, when he moved to Knox. Mr. Wallace was an Albany police officer for 26 years, retiring in l985, and then worked for Capital Regional Market as a security guard. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, in which he was awarded three bronze stars. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Snyder Wallace; one son, John Wallace; two daughters, Deborah and Marcia Wallace; one brother, Vincent Wallace of Claverack (Columbia Co.); two stepsons, Peter and Willis Snyder; two stepdaughters, Teresa Anne and Rose Marie Snyder; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday at the Magin and Keegan Funeral Home, Inc., 891 Madison Ave, Albany. Burial was in Knox Cemetery Altamont Enterprise - July 2, 1998 Sources
