Birth
Philip was born in Berne in 1809, the son of Samuel Young and Magdalene Warner. [1]
Occupation
He was a lifelong farmer and owned a farm of 160 acres [1]
Marriage & Children
Philip married Hannah, a daughter of Elias Mathias[1] and Margaret Schupe of New Scotland, at about 1833 [2]
Their children were:
- Samuel P. Young, deceased[1]born January 27, 1833, died November 15, 1874[2]
- David P. Young[1]
- Mary E. Young[1]born about 1839, married Martin A. Joslin. [2]
- Margaret A. Young[1]married Horace Filkins [2]
- Elias Young [1]
Death
Philip died in 1891 and his wife in 1893. [1]
