Miner Walden married in 1791 Pawlet, Vermont Esther Denison (11 Apr 1772 - 21 Nov 1862 Knox, Albany, New York). Their children were:
- Nancy Ann Walden, b. 29 Oct 1792, Rutland, Vermont , d. 2 Dec 1873, Berne, Albany, New York married William Henry Ball
- Cornelia Rose Walden, b. 1798, d. 11 Jan 1879, Rutland, VT married Jacob Settle, Jr.
- Hiram Walden, b. 27 Aug 1800, Pawlet, Rutland, Vermont , d. 21 Jun 1880, Waldenville, Schoharie, New York

Miner Walden died 21 May 1827 in Berne, Albany, New York

Miner Walden came from Vermont in 1797 and became a useful citizen of Berne. He established what was probably the first carding machine, and also carried on a mercantile business. He was many years a justice of the peace and was universally respected.
