Birth
Daniel Gould was born November 18, 1796, in Rhode Island. His parents are James Gould born 1767 Newport, R.I. and Mary Spencer born R.I.
Occupation
He migrated to Westerlo where he was a farmer.
Marriage and Children
Daniel married Sarah (Sally) Elizabeth Green (B. June 10, 1794 D June 17, 1852, Westerlo) and they had the following children:
- Elizabeth Gould, born February 25, 1818, in Westerlo. She was known as Betsy. Elizabeth married George Peck, son of Moses Peck and his wife Sarah (Sally) Peck.
- Mary Ann Gould, born October 1, 1819, in Westerlo. Mary married William Peck son of Moses Peck and his wife Sarah (Sally) Peck
- Marium J. Gould was born 1829. Marium married Risley Haines and died October 24, 1917, Peoria, IL.
There is also an Eliza Ann Gould who is buried in Peck Cemetery on Johnny Cake Hill Rd. in Westerlo who was possible daughter of Daniel. Eliza Ann died February 28, 1843, at 4 years, 11 months and 8 days of age.
Following his marriage to Sarah, Daniel married Angeline Bennet.
Death
He died on September 30, 1880.
