William J. Hallenbeck died December 3, 1961 at his home in Knox at Thompson's Lake. Obituary
William J. Hallenbeck William J. Hallenbeck, 89, of Thompsons Lake, died at his home early Sunday after a long illness. Born in Van Wie's Point, he was a dairy farmer for many years at Thompson's Lake until his retirement several years ago, when he moved to Altamont. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harrison Salisbury; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren,. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the Applebee Funeral Home, Delmar. Rev. Donald Boyce of the Westerlo Reformed church officiated. Burial was in Mount Pleasant cemetery, New Salem. Altamont Enterprise - September 8, 1961
