		+	ROSWELL, N.M. '''Helen B. Landauer,''' of Roswell, N.M., passed away September 14, 2008, at the age of 87. She was born August 12, 1921, to the late Zygmund and Suzanna Szymanski in Westfield, Mass. Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Edmund, Henry and James; her late husband, Edwin Buckingham; and stepson, Paul Landauer.

		+	She is survived by her sisters, Jayne Janonis and Trudy Staniulis; daughter, Susan B. Massamillo; husband, L. Charles Landauer; stepchildren, Michael Landauer, Mary Lou Dunham, Patricia Landauer, Peter Landauer and Daniel Landauer. She leaves wonderful memories to her grandchildren, Andrew, Christian, Elizabeth, Charles, Ryan, Katherine and Kristin; and to many nieces and nephews.

		+	Helen was raised and attended school in Johnson City, N.Y., where she became a legal secretary. She moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, where she built her log cabin home, finding time to be an air tour guide. Helen spent two years in Munich, Germany. She moved to Latham, N.Y. to raise her family, where she was an accomplished seamstress and homemaker, eventually retiring to Roswell, N.M. Helen will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

		+	A memorial Mass will be held at St. Ambrose Church in Latham, N.Y. on Monday, October 20, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.
