At about 1810 he married Sarah Finch who was born on October 27, 1788 a daughter of [[Foster Finch]] and Naomi Merrick. The children of Michael and Sarah were:

*Jane Lee was born at about 1815, she married Simeon Morgan
*Mary Ann Lee married Jonathan Wooster

==Death==
Sarah died on May 7, 1845. Michael died on December 18, 1864 in Knox. They are buried beside each other in the Lee Church cemetery in Knox.
