George W. On April 6, 1858 George married [[Nancy Lourie]] in Schoharie, Schoharie Co, NY.<ref name="Bernehistory"/> She was the daughter of [[George Lourie]] and [[Barbara Lemon]], and had been born June 1837.<ref name="Bernehistory"/>

George's oldest child Franklin had been born in Broome, Schoharie County in 1858.<ref name="Bernehistory"/> In the early 1860s, his next two children were born Middleburgh, Schoharie Co, NY.<ref name="Bernehistory"/>

==Death==
George W. Laraway died on December 20, 1864 at Andersonville Prison. He had been captured at Petersburg, Va. and sent to [[Andersonville]] Prison, where he had been admitted to the hospital on October 11, 1864. He died in the prison hospital of scurvy<ref name="Carnival"/> (also known as scorbutus). He was buried at Andersonville in grave number 12313.<ref name="Carnival"/>

After his death on March 17, 1869, his wife Nancy married John J. Willman (B. unk, D. Nov 28, 1879). She ultimately died on February 27, 1923.
