Lewis Kenyon, was born in Rensselaerville on June 15, 1843, and was a son of [[Simeon P. Kenyon]] and Susan Cross <ref name="Landmarks">[[Landmarks of Albany County]], NY, Edited by Amasa J. Parker, Albany, NY</ref>

==Education==
He was educated in the common schools and Schodack Academy<ref name="Landmarks"/>.

==Occupation==
He was a farmer and owned about 330 acres of land, the original homestead. He was justice of the peace and was supervisor for five successive years. <ref name="Landmarks"/>

==Marriage & Children==
In 1871 he married Frances M. Coggeshall who was born at about 1852<ref name="1880 Census">1880 census, Rensselaerville, Albany Co. NY</ref>, and had one son:<br>
*Clayton Kenyon<ref name="Landmarks"/> born in 1874<ref name="1880 Census"/>

At about 1883, Lewis married secondly, Elizabeth, who was born in December of 1846. <ref name="1900 Census">1900 census, Rensselaerville, Albany Co. NY</ref>
Their children:<br>
*Etta <ref name="Landmarks"/> A. Kenyon, born in November of 1883<ref name="1900 Census"/>
*Nellie<ref name="Landmarks"/> Kenyon, born in February of 1889<ref name="1900 Census"/>

==Death==
